HR Co-ord Committee
HIA has nearly 100 members and thus a huge pool of HR professionals. Every company has its own best practices and ways of working that it has adopted and perfected over years. Also, with every year there are novel concepts, innovative business practices and new employee requirements that necessitate change in approach of Human Resource Management. HR practitioners too therefore need to keep abreast with the changes in the HR environment. To help the companies share each other’s best practices and to discuss HR management issues, the committee conducts various workshops, discussions and meetings where HR professionals interact and share ideas. Also, to introduce the HR professionals to new ideas and latest concepts, book reviews and panel discussions on topical subjects of HRM are held with professional practitioners invited as guest speakers and panel members. The HR Co-ord Committee aims at growth of HR practitioners and improvement in HR Management in all companies through sharing of knowledge and other resources.

HR Co-ord Committee - ChairpersonSamir heads the HR Co-ord Committee at HIA since 2018. He is involved in various initiatives of HIA that include arranging workshops, discussions, and meetings where HR professionals interact and share ideas. He is a hard core HR professional with over 20 years of experience in the field. He is currently working with Tech Mahindra Ltd. Pune as Regional HR Head.
