RGIP has many companies situated there, and to enable a better work life balance for the employees, an infrastructure is being put in place. This allows it to become a fully integrated township. With residential properties, colleges and schools in its area, RGIP hopes to provide its workforce a better work life balance ensuring productivity as well a quality family life in a safe and secure environment.

    Real Estate Development :
Hinjawadi is a proposed hub for integrated townships in Pune.
The new Special Township Policy Act of the Maharashtra government has laid down an integrated approach to the development of townships to de-congest Pune Municipal Corporation areas. To encourage new settlements in its periphery the Govt allocates higher FSI (floor space index) in these regions than what is normally allowed in the municipal limits.
Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has envisaged a Metro route between Hinjewadi and Shivajinagar. This line will travel through corresponding PMC, PCMC and MIDC areas to provide a seamless transport solution to people commuting to RGIP on a daily basis.

    Security :
MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) has undertaken special initiatives to make the area in and around RGIP secure and safe for the people commuting and living there.
One of the many is the project to install closed circuit television cameras in RGIP. Co-sponsored by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and the Hinjawadi Industries Association, this project will comprise of 22 surveillance cameras at six junctions in the IT Park to monitor all activities in the area.
It will be integrated with the Rs. 225-crore CCTV camera project (1,285 cameras at 441 junctions) installed in the city. The output will be monitored and recorded by a centralized unit at the Pune Police Commissionerate.

    Education :
One of RGIP’s specialty is that it promotes a campus recruitment policy to feed the companies located in it. Hence there are a large number of colleges in the area, prominent among them being:
    1. International Institute of Information Technology
    2. Symbiosis International University
    3. Alard Campus
    4. IIMS college
    5. Indira College

To maintain a work life balance, RGIP also promotes setting up schools. To ensure that the workforce has any options for their children’s education, Amongst the others, a few schools of repute at RGIP are:
    1. Mercedes-Benz International School
    2. Blue Ridge Public School
    3. Pawar Public School

All in all, RGIP is the favoured destination for companies as well as employees in and around Pune. HIA works towards making it a better place to work and live in on constant basis.
