Infrastructure Committee

The main purpose of setting up HIA was to create a common platform for taking up complaints and infrastructure development issues to the Govt officials and Ministries. Towards this end, the Infrastructure Committee takes the lead in projection and follow up of all projects for RGIP. This Committee like all other sub-committees, is formed with volunteers drawn from companies who invest their time and efforts in assessing the infra requirement and putting up the same to MIDC and other related agencies like the PWD, PCMC, PMRDA and PMC. Further follow up as required with the Ministries is also undertaken. This is a gargantuan task that requires very detailed and sustained work and follow up.Towards this, the Committee continuously carries out detailed recce of the surrounding areas and suggests avenues for new road development, widening and construction of link roads to RGIP. The Infrastructure Committee has been instrumental in making the life of employees much better over the past few years. Its efforts at getting projects sanctioned for widening of roads, adding of new road avenues to RGIP, creating diversions and bridges, sanction and creation of peripheral roads around RGIP, successfully getting the Hinjawadi-Shivajinagar Metro Rail sanctioned, and pushing for Integrated Solid Waste Management, have been commendable. Through successful implementation of many projects, the Infrastructure Committee continues to aggressively contribute to the betterment of RGIP.
